Guiseppe’s Italian Ristorante opened on February 26, 2010. Joe and Michele Curatti use their own recipes to create their signature spaghetti and Alfredo sauces. Other homemade items include: Lasagna, meatballs, Grandma’s Ravioli (a 100+ year old recipe handed down by Joe’s mother Dorothy who learned the recipe from Joe’s father’s mother Josephine), stuffed shells, manicotti, fried spaghetti, as well as many others.
Joe traces his Italian heritage from Midwestern Pennsylvania back to Genova, Italy from where his grandparents immigrated to the US in the early 1900’s. The recipes offered at Guiseppe’s accents that heritage as well as creations of Joe and Michele. Weekly specials are offered as a new dish is created.
The restaurant’s interior offers a venue and ambiance different than anywhere else in the area. The décor and jazz playing in the background gives one a chance to slip out of the normal daily stresses and escape into a relaxing atmosphere enjoying the tasty options the menu has to offer.
